Race report: Super Radial B and C class. 15 B cars, 15 C cars.

Saturday – We were supposed to qualify Friday, but due to heave rain it was cancelled and the organizers used the finishing positions from the last race as the starting order for the race, and we didn’t race the last race so they put us in last place, 30th.
The car felt good in the warm up lap, got a great start, on the first corner everyone seemed to want to go on the inside, so I decided to take a risk and go for the outside. It was a good choice, as I managed to pass about 10 cars in one corner!  Unfortunately there was a crash in the second corner, and I smashed straight into him and spun.  Got the car around again and starting flooring it, and put in some fast laps to catch the guys in front.  In fact I managed to get the best lap time of the race.  The race was 17 laps and on the last lap I was able to pass up into 1st in my class, and 3rd overall.  But the guy I passed was not to happy with me in 1st place so he managed to hit the back of my car so I lost control and spun into the grass.  Got the car out of the grass and made it back to the chequered flag to finish 3rd in my class, and 5th overall.

Sunday – Started from 18th on the grid, and 3rd in my class.  Had a great start again, and passed into 11th position after the first corner.  After that there was a big crash at the end of the straight, so the stewards decided to red flag the race so they could clear the track.  Got of to a flying start again at the restart battled my way passed the B cars for ten laps, and got up to 3rd overall.  Decided then to stay in 3rd, 1st in group C, as I saw no point in trying to pass 2nd and 1st since they weren’t in my class.  Successful day again! Winner of the race in my class !!!!!!!!!! As expected , Hoops !
