With Live TV coverage and series Supremo Khun Kitti's magic event touch, the third round turned into one of the best kart racing events in Thailand for a long time. Hard and intense, but fair and clean, the races was exiting as ever. The new large grids of children and junior karts is testament to Khun Kitti and Khun Khajorn's commitment to promoting kart racing in Thailand and especially for children.
The event was officially opened by a delegation of VIP's led by Khun Tawatchai Tertpaochai, the provincial governor, Kittana Puttanon, Police Colonel and Chakorn Watchanasin, Chief of Police.
The racing itself saw 68 karts competing through the day with battles up and down the grid, especially worth mention must be Tin Tin and Shogun's epic battle and numerous lead changes in Formula A - just awesome racing. Tin Tin eventually took the win.
During the Junior Rok final there was not one spectator sitting as the action became nailbitingly intense between Sandy and local hero Kittitat, fighting it out hard but fair for the win, interstingly Sandy and Kittitat finishing the 14 laps even faster then the KF2's. Joshua Clegg provided the days scariest moment with a well executed triple summersault flier with spread eagle - pleeease don't do that again Josh...
The ROK grid as always saw tight racing, but in the end it was Thanart who yet again secured the win with hard charging Pasin taking second.
Formula 125B had Curt Guy winning - again - and Jukka taking second place.
In MiniRok Petch drove south east Asia's widest kart and the ever hard charging young Miss Praew eventually had to settle for second, but she sure did try every which way she could.
The Comer 60 class was won by young Viravich with Siwatsakorn having to settle for second. Comer A class saw Praewpan winning ahead of Viravich. Finally the large Comer B grid, with no less then 16 karts was won by Tanakorn who lead home Tachapan for the victory.
Finally a big thank you to race series supremo Khun Kitti and True Vision for organizing such a fantastic event and for the resolve to promote fair and clean racing in Thailand !!
